It's been a difficult week here at mikeandnichaveababy.blog.co.uk Towers. Nicola has had it tough due to a stomach bug that has seen her throw up like she is unleashing something truly terrible from the gates of hell and (I really don't want to go into to detail about the 'and' but seeing as this is a warts and all account.....) drop things into the toilet that began to strip the wallpaper.

This meant that she has had to take 5 days off her work and lounge about the house with Lucy the dog.

Due to that, there ain't too much to report on the news side of things however, I can confirm that prior to her sickness bug I did manage to have some sympathy morning sickness. I have felt it really quite important that I try and go along with Nic on this crazy journey as much as possible so last Saturday I prepared to get some morning sickness. Now to do this (and I'm not sure how many people have tried this?) you have to firstly get mentally prepared. Going into a quiet place and concentrating on the job at hand mentally prepare some people. Others do it by just grabbing the bull by the horns and just going for it. I did it by getting up early in the morning and going on a 14 hour drinking bender to Perth as part of Paul Rose's stag day. By the end of the day I was in the sympathy position to find myself bloated (I pretended with child) and ready to blow chunks early into Sunday morning. It wasn't pretty but few things are on this blog but I now know exactly how the pregnant female feels and all I can say is - wow, you women really will find the slightest excuse to complain :DD

Ally made a good point in his comment about Frank and I can confirm that we have tried to get in contact with him but so far he hasn't replied to any emails. I believe his email address is still frankthemancar@oz.com but if anyone knows any different please let us know. The main thing we want to know is if he would mind if we called the kid after him.

Thats it till next week I think. We should have some wacky story as we start dog training classes on Monday and I'm sure hilarity will follow.

Cheers

Mick and Nic
